"I noticed the texture of the outside is different than the smooth original version. It feels a little weird but I'm getting used to it. It does seem a little taller than original and I do like that. I took off one start because it would have been nice to know there had been a change."
"This new update of Vinglace is much improved. Its double wall insulation is now on par with the best double wall insulation of Yeti tumblers. And the glass insert design removes any steel after taste while drinking wine or mild teas. The next step should be to reduce the mass of this glass insert so that it does not take as much heat for the initial warm up. Great product and much improved"
"Borosilicate liners fit snuggly into the metal cups, no rubber or silicon sleeves exposed to the liquids . All glass exposure. But the nicely designed lids are plastic. After my hot coffee sat in the new cup for a few hours, it had an off taste to it. I’m soaking the lid in water to possible “break it in?” Otherwise. A good cup. Didn’t keep my hot drinks hot as long as they advertised though. You can travel with the cups. Everything is fitted tightly & won’t pop off. It takes effort to pull apart."

"This glass (or cup) is great for both hot and cold beverages. The glass insert is a big step up from metal, although it does make the glass rather heavy. I gave these as Christmas gifts to my family members and they were all thrilled. It may or may not fit in your car cup holder, depending on the car."
"I am a tea drinker and hate the taste of metal as well so when I saw this i knew I needed one! Despite being a little on the heavy side because that's just glass, it's actually fits in my small hands nicely. Fits in cup holder and easy to clean. The lid is disappointing. I am not saying it needs to be spill proof but having a lid that closes would be nice since no matter how slow one drives over speed bumps . . . it splashes. If that improves, I will buy more;)"
